This is a beta release of BuffaloLink.Do not publish any third-party content via BuffaloLink without the parties' permission. Because the service is still being tested, not all features are available at this time.
To help us better plan future features and improvements, Buffalo will collect the following data metrics:
• Click counts on major BuffaloLink functions |
• Connection method(s) used to visit BuffaloLink |
• Configuration data of NAS device used |
• Operating system and browser used |
By downloading the BuffaloLink beta firmware, you agree to this metric collection. No personal identification information will be collected.
If you encounter any bugs or issues while using BuffaloLink, please let us know immediately. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and feedback.
Logging In
If you are not at the BuffaloLink main screen, go to https://www.buffalolink.com/. Enter the email address and password you used to create the BuffaloLink account and click the log in button.
Creating a New Account
Enter your email address and a username, then click Register. Please use the same email address for creating an account to register your NAS. A login link and temporary password will be emailed to you. Click on the link and log in using your email address and temporary password. You will be asked to create a new password after you log in.
Enter and confirm your new password to create your account.
Once you have created an account, register your NAS to start using BuffaloLink. At this time, only select Buffalo products support BuffaloLink. Refer to the Compatible Devices section for a list of supported devices.
Registering Your NAS
Open your Buffalo NAS device's Settings page. You may need to be logged in as the administrator. On the Easy Admin page, click on the BuffaloLink tab.
On the BuffaloLink page, enable BuffaloLink by switching it to On.
A temporary password and login link will be emailed to you. Click on the link and log in using your email address and temporary password. Once you log in, you will be asked to create a new password.
Note: If you already have a BuffaloLink account, the email will not be sent. You can log in to BuffaloLink and see the device immediately.
Once you set your password, your NAS device is registered to BuffaloLink.
Removing Your NAS
The Remove Devices dialog appears. Click the Remove button to complete the procedure.
Your NAS will be removed. To re-register your NAS, refer to the registering your NAS section above.
